Jocelyn Chia

Contributing Writer

Jocelyn's background is in Human Resource Management and Information Management. She also completed a postgraduate diploma in Human Studies (Counselling).

She worked for World Vision as a Child Sponsorship Supervisor and as a student advisor at a state university in Australia, the latter of which she was with for five years. Jocelyn wrote, edited and designed the monthly newsletters for the fundraising projects of a local not-for-profit organisation for seven years prior to 2009.

In April 2010, she completed a writing course, on feature articles for newspapers and magazines, under the instruction of the Director of the Sydney Writers' Centre. She is a member of SheWrites and a contributing writer for Sister Village. Jocelyn draws on personal experience and the expertise of others in her writing.
